If you have a common interpretation and understanding, then your work will not stand out. You need to consider what you HAVEN'T thought about. How can you reconsider the brief?

Chose something which is far off the brief, never be afraid of it.

Key Considerations

Who is the audience?
Self conscious, fashion - forward individuals internationally. Someone prepared to spend a little bit extra for high quality clothing. THE JUDGES. WHAT ARE THEY LOOKING FOR?

Who should the audience be?
The clothing is for women, therefore they will be the main (or almost entire) audience. People with a lot of money, willing to spend 100's of pounds on a jumper. People 18 - 30 who either earn a lot of money or have parents who do so. Middle to Upper Class.

Who could the audience be? Why?                                                     CONSIDER THIS
Other Fashion designers / Fashion students? Celebs. Men purchasing clothing for their partner?

Men with a high income could afford to buy clothes from 'Organic' for their partners. Fashion designers may purchase clothing for photoshoots. Celebs may be paid to wear the clothing.

Audience

What do they do?
Spend money on clothing, spend their income on luxury items.

Where do they go?
Expensive clubs, yachts, fashionista parties, high class events, Award Ceremonies, Department Stores

What do they buy?
Lots of clothes, jewellery, pugs, shoes.

What do they want to be?
Successful, famous, good looking, a general young socialite.

With a student competition, the idea of audience is important:

You need to design for the audience, not just for you.

Consider who could be the audience be further.
